Thursday morning
- As mentioned yesterday, I still feel pretty good about where things stand with BYU OL tackle transfer Campbell Barrington. He will be on a visit this weekend to Waco, has a lot of options to go elsewhere, but the Bears are in a good spot. - Looking at the OL class, there is a vast amount of excitement for Sean Thompkins out of Georgia. He's a little bit out of sight, out of mind considering he's in Georgia, but this might be Baylor's best OL prospect in terms of natural ability and ceiling since Khalil Keith. It's always tough for a true freshman to come in and play right away, but he will make a case to do so if he's ready to work when he arrives.- Baylor is on LSU WR transfer Jack Bech. As I mentioned yesterday, this is a guy you take from a talent standpoint but also a culture standpoint. He is about the right things and checks boxes of toughness, YAC and emotion as well. TCU is making a big push with him and with a different type of approach. Everything is point in the direction of this being a head to head battle between Baylor and TCU. - This is stating the obvious now, but it looks like Baylor wants to find a transfer receiver. If things were to move along from Bech, Baylor will continue searching. There are a ton of options in the portal and it will be about finding the right fit. - Overview: Right now, I expect Baylor to take 1 WR, 1 OL, 1 DL, 1 DB from the portal. That seems like a big number considering the roster situation right now, but there are strong indicators that it is the route Baylor will go. It might be more before all is said and done, but I feel good about that right now.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
