Housecleaning...
- I'm a little behind on this, but I put in my predictions for Khamari Terrell and Devonte Tezino to Baylor earlier today. Baylor had been in a really good spot for Terrell for awhile leading up to the OV, but his recruiting process has been a little different to say the least. Tezino is quickly coming one of my favorites in the cycle. His junior to senior film is night and day as he was able to play with a hand in the ground. Gabe Hall was heavier out of high school, but I think end product could be very similar. - Enyce Sledge has told at least one person that he was coming back into the class in recent days. I have hesitancy buying in fully, but his recent quote about "person over player" to a reporter in the industry gave support to what I was told. His recruitment has catapulted in recent weeks. Getting him back in the fold would be a good pick up. - As Grayson reported yesterday, we have been told that Jordan Nabors did not go on his official visit to Texas Tech over the weekend. This is terrific news and should be good sign for Wednesday. His testing numbers from his recruitment opened the eyes around the country in terms of athletic ability. He was going to be found out because of those, but his senior season production was terrific. Definitely worth more than his 85 national ranking.- There is a string of optimism surrounding Armani Winfield. Grayson has been on top of this, but the recruitment going back to the fall has been very pro-Baylor. This isn't something that developed over night. If there was one 2022 recruit that really was open to a successful season persuading him in one direction, it was Winfield. At least on the surface. It's typically a year removed from a big year that you get a recruiting boost, but Baylor is definitely in the mix for the four-star product. - Regarding the transfer portal, unless there is a clear upgrade for a position room, don't expect Baylor to just look at anyone. The staff has been very measured in its approach with guys like Grant Miller, Jacob Gall, Drew Estrada, Siaki Ika, Dillon Doyle. After saying this, don't expect Baylor to push for Alabama transfer CB Marcus Banks. There was a visit to Baylor, as we reported, but things have cooled have a lot. I expect Baylor to look for a CB, but don't think this is the one.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
