Quick Note on 2024 Commit
Baylor landed a commitment from Lumberton (TX) JACK Brock Jackson late last week as he became commit No. 3 in the 2024 class.I talked to him today and one thing he told me is that he wants to be the defensive leader for this 2024 class. Now he remember he is really close with Jasper linebacker Tyanthony Smith who, in my eyes, currently is the best WLB prospect in the state. They have been visiting Baylor together a ton throughout this process and both were leaning heavy towards Baylor for a while. Smith still loves Baylor and the addition of Christian Robinson has been huge but he has really blown up on the trail which has made things a little tougher to predict. No doubt the addition of Jackson is a huge help here though. The other name who Jackson mentioned to me was Conroe (TX) Oak Ridge defensive end Joseph Jonah-Ajonye. The two of them met at Junior Day a few weeks ago and when Jackson committed Jonah-Ajonye asked him why he chose Baylor. The two talked about that some but the fact that he reached out tells you all you need to know about his interest level. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound prospect has blown up since visiting Baylor as Oregon, Oklahoma, Florida State, and Texas A&M have offered. Keep an eye on him going forward. He also told me he last measured 6'4, 240-pounds and is solely being recruited as a JACK for those who have been asking. It is great to see Baylor land prospects early in the cycle but landing one's who want to be leaders and recruiters in this class is huge. Brock Jackson is going to be one of those for Baylor.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
