Lee, originally of Louisiana, was committed to LSU as a recruit of Dennis Johnson and Dave Aranda in the 2020 class. He ultimately signed with Florida. Baylor is in search of a nose tackle type in this class and Lee could become a great addition, but as always, this could come down to being a culture fit. The first hand knowledge of Lee will be a great tool for Aranda and staff.Lee (6-2, 299) started three games this season for Florida and appeared in at 12 regular season games. Everything went really well. He will be signing on early signing day and enrolling in January.12/8 9:08amArkansas transfer defensive/nose tackle Taylor Lewis has been in constant contact with Tyler Foster daily and should be on a recruiting call with Dennis Johnson shortly. He has two years of eligibility remaining.The 6-foot-3, 317-pound prospect played three seasons at College of the Canyons before landing at Arkansas. He was a unanimous selection for first-team All-SCFA and was added to the Region III All-California Community College team. Lewis chose Arkansas over Auburn, Nebraska, Missouri, Oregon State, Washington State, and UTSA among others.Lewis enrolled at Arkansas in June before entering the transfer portal in late August right before the season began. He did not play a single snap in Fayetteville.The Baylor staff has been doing some due diligence here as they have been talking to multiple former coaches, looking at his transcripts, and just trying to learn more about him before offering. As usual culture fit is always key for this Baylor staff.Marshall, Memphis, and Maryland are the primary schools standing out to Lewis and the bigger one's who have offered at this time. He has a visit set to Memphis.Lewis is looking to enroll in January which means making a commitment decision in the next couple weeks. If Baylor decides to offer I feel really good about its chances to land the massive nose tackle prospect.12/8 9:10amBaylor is on LSU WR transfer Jack Bech. As I mentioned yesterday, this is a guy you take from a talent standpoint but also a culture standpoint. He is about the right things and checks boxes of toughness, YAC and emotion as well. TCU is making a big push with him and with a different type of approach.
