Aledo QB Decommits from Duke, plans Baylor visit
Aledo 2024 QB and Baylor target Hauss Hejny decommitted from Duke a few days ago but did not post anything on Twitter about it. "After almost two months of committing and my recruiting picking up I just felt like, in hindsight that I cut my recruiting process short by committing so early," he said. "I still love Duke and the coaching staff - they've treated me extremely well."Hejny has added offers and major interest from Baylor, TCU, Cal, Oklahoma State, Utah, and West Virginia since he committed to Duke. Each are making him a priority right now."I just didn't feel right taking visits while being committed to Duke and I didn't feel right about my commitment to Duke the more I understood what the intentions of schools near the top of my list were," he said.Baylor is one of the schools that has made a huge impact on him and became a part of the reason he needed to open things up and explore other options more thoroughly."Baylor made a big impression on me during my visit a couple weeks ago and they continue to," Hejny said. "They have always been a top school for me amongst a handful of others so at this point, I want to take my time, continue to get to know these schools/coaches before I make a final decision."Hejny will be back in Waco on Friday after missing this past Friday's planned trip to Baylor due to a tack and field meet.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
