March Football Recruiting Thread
I will be off for a while as my wife just gave birth to our son Shepherd but wanted to get this updated really quick while he is napping. We have some great football interviews coming up this week! Excited for that.March and April will be very busy with recruits coming to campus for spring practices and the end of spring event.Official visits are also getting scheduled and I have already compiled as much of a list as I can at the moment. There will be a significant amount of additions over the coming weeks and month but it's a start to the list. The list I have is below. The staff sent out a bunch of offers but I likely won't update those till I am back at work but quite a few 2027 offensive lineman were offered which was a necessity as the Bears don't have a very extensive list of priority targets there at the moment.Baylor currently has four commits in the 2027 recruiting class: University S Davontrae Kirkland, Lone Star LB/ATH Karece Hoyt, Stillwater LB Bryson_ Brown and Cedar Hill DE Jalen Price.June 5-7Iowa Colony QB Carson White Midway RB Lathan Whisenton Whitney WR Kobe Haynes La Porte TE Ryker Reynolds Forney OL Jordan Carraway Shepherd DL Brayden White South San EDGE Brayden Booth University S Davontrae Kirkland Coppell S Jaden Bibbs June 12-14Cy Ranch QB Braden Baker Dripping Springs OL Hudson Whitenight Jersey Village EDGE Cael Thigpen Arlington Lamar LB Braylon Williams June 19-21Southlake Carroll WR Blake Gunter Cedar Hill DE Jalen Price Edmond Memorial (OK) LB Colton McComb Lone Star LB/ATH Karece Hoyt

Running Junior Day List (July 27th)
Baylor will host its annual late July Junior Day on July 27th. The group will focus on the 2026 class but there could be some younger prospects on campus as in the 2027 or 2028 classes. It will be a loaded group by the time we get to the date but right now all the invites aren't out. I just wanted to go ahead and get this rolling since it is less than two weeks out. This will be fascinating as we will get a true sense of the priorities for the staff and the level of interest among prospects in the upcoming class.I will continue to update this list over the next few weeks and will pin it at the top during the week of the event.2025 CommitsCoppell QB Edward Griffin Pauls Valley (OK) RB Caden Knighten Richland RB Michael Turner Red Oak WR Taz Williams Shadow Creek WR Ashton Jones Shadow Creek WR Jacorey Watson Lorena DL Jackson Blackwell Neville DE Brody Whatley Iowa Colony EDGE Christopher Johnson South Oak Cliff EDGE Kamauryn Morgan Byron Nelson CB Leo Almanza Gunter S Colin Peacock Hebron S Bo Onu 2025Midlothian OL Nelson McGuire Jackson Prep (MS) OL Matthew Parker (Vandy Commit)Cy Falls LB Kaleb Burns (Texas Tech Commit)2026Liberty Christian QB Quinn Murphy North Forney QB Legend Bey Elkins QB Romin Seymour Honey Grove (OK) RB Ryelan Morris Southlake Carroll RB Davis Penn (Commit)University WR London Smith Red Oak WR Brayden Robinson Frisco Heritage WR Tatum Bell, Jr. Panther Creek WR/CB Jalen Lott Byron Nelson TE Parker Almanza Stratford OL Foard Polley Fort Bend Marshall LB Noriel DominguezConnally CB Jamarion Vincent Lancaster CB Victor Lincoln University S Davontrae Kirkland Panther Creek CB Donovan Webb Seminole ATH Caton Cramer Melissa ATH Payhton Porter Cy Springs ATH Paris Melvin Jr 2027Arlington Lamar LB Braylon Williams San Antonio Johnson CB Mikhail McCreary

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
