Christmas Day Notes
While we wait for Baylor's first commitment to Matt Rhule there are other things happening behind the scenes. I've heard Sonny Cumbie will not be the OC. The source is solid, but now saying that, watch it happen, but I trust the source on this one.I've heard there could be a Co-OC with one on the field and one in the box, which isn't unusual. The one in the box appears to be one with NFL lineage or from the NFL.Once the commit happens in the next couple of days expect the number to grow to 10 soon after. The staff doesn't have territories defined yet and are working as a team on all prospects. There appears to be two out of state prospects, Brandon Thompson and Justin Harris, close to committing and Harris moved his visit to last after feeling LSU wasn't truly interested. Thompson wants to play both ways and Baylor is offering him the opportunity to do both at TE/DE.Zach Smith, Pooh Strickland, and Terence Williams are close to 100% from their recent injuries. Matt Rhule is flying to Arizona and from what we have heard is planning on meeting with the parents of current players to talk about his plans for the future before the Cactus Bowl.Flower Mound kicker Josh Grant continues talking with Shawn Bell about the possibility of getting a scholarship or PWO position.Merry Christmas everyone!

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
