Quick recruiting overview note
The commitment from James Sylvester last night was massive. A lot of talk about TCU "letting him go" that is floating out there, but the truth is in the middle. TCU did "let him go," but only in the sense that he told Gary Patterson he would be visiting Baylor and in response that he would not have a spot if he did. If you remember, it's very similar to what happened several months ago when James decommitted from TCU for something like 24 hours.Additionally, I've been told that the staff is confident this is just the beginning of what should be a fun few weeks leading up to the early signing period. A lot of headway being made and momentum that makes me feel comfortable about reporting a couple of weeks ago that this class has a chance to be Baylor's best under Matt Rhule by a good chunk.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
