Quick notes (must read)
- Look for DB Myles Brooks to open up his recruitment soon. A lot of speculation has been floating around lately and I can tell you it's a mutual departure in a sense. Baylor wants him and really, really likes him, but they do not want him to take a spot through the summer if he isn't set with a class that is going to be so small. Essentially the staff is telling him he has to do what's best for himself and allows the staff to possibly take guys who are wanting to commit. Remember, the staff wants him so he has a spot, but they aren't in the business of forcing him to stick around if he doesn't want to. This makes things easier for take a guy like Tyler Owens now that Tyrone Brown is back in the fold.- Permian Odessa OL Landon Peterson and DE Matt Jones will be on campus at the end of this week, likely on Friday. Baylor is in a very, very good spot to land both of those guys and it wouldn't surprise me if it happened by the time they leave their visit. - Baylor has offered Prestonwood S Solomon Turner after his performance at camp today. I'm not expecting anything imminent but I can tell you he was excited about the offer. It's not public yet, but it will be soon. - Genson Hooper is a take after the staff saw him again today at the camp. He is a freak. Not the best receiver of the guys they are recruiting, but he's too good of an athlete to not find a spot for. Could be a WR, could be a TE, could be a LB, could be a DE. You'll see my pictures tomorrow or late tonight. - DE Trace Ford was hoping to get an offer before he camped, but the staff wanted him to make it to Waco. He drove himself down to Waco from Santa Fe, Oklahoma and earned it. Not saying that Baylor is going to land him, but he really wanted the offer and backed it up by making the trip.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
