Rapid reaction on B-White's commitment
Speeeeeed over everything. If you're concerned about his film or not, the biggest reason Brandon White is a take because of his size to speed ratio that goes along with his athletic ability. I know there is the thought that he helps Baylor land his teammate and running back King Doerue and he definitely does, but White was a take by the staff on his own. It was a great situation to stay true to their recruiting strategy and they did just that. In June, White twice ran in the 4.3s at the Commerce Mega Camp and attracted a lot of attention. The biggest issue here is that he plays receiver in an offense that does not throw the ball at Tascosa and his defensive film is limited. That's why this is a take as an athlete. Personally, I see him ending up at cornerback. On the track, White proved his speed to be legitimate. After running a 10.62 at district and a 10.45 in the 100 meters at area, White followed it up with a 10.62 at the regional meet, coming in sixth behind the No. 1 time of 10.58 in Kyron Cumby of Plano, an Illinois pledge. Another Baylor target, Odessa Permian's Peyton Powell, clocked a 10.97 at the same event. There are a lot of things to like about the take (the speed and size) and things to not like as well (lack of true film assessment), but the staff once again stayed true to their methods and took size, speed and athleticism.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2
