Baylor commit in Vype Houston Top 30
Pearland (TX) Shadow Creek High School WR Randy Masters checks in at #8. Lots of top targets in the Houston area for 2022 made the list.I have some notes on the rankings at the bottom.https://www.vype.com/Texas/Houston/the-class-of-22-hot-talent-vype-super-30?rebelltitem=1#rebelltitem1Quote:1. Malick Sylla, Katy, DE2. Denver Harris, North Shore, DB3. Kameron Dewberry, Atascocita, OL4. Kelvin Banks, Summer Creek, OL5. Jaydon Blue, Klein Cain, RB6. Donovan Green, Dickinson, TE7. PJ Williams, Dickinson, OL8. Randy Masters, Shadow Creek, WR9. AJ Holmes, Westfield, DE10. Justin Medlock, Manvel, LB11. Conner Weigman, Bridgeland, QB12. Harold Perkins, Cy Park, LB13. Bobby Taylor, Katy, DB14. Matthew Golden, Klein Cain, WR15. Julian Humphrey, Clear Lake, DB16. Ty Kana, Katy, LB17. Cardell Williams, Westfield, QB18. Martell Harris, The Woodlands, LB19. Dylan Dixson, Pearland, LB20. Bert Emanuel Jr., Ridge Point, QB21. Trent McGaughey, Shadow Creek, TE22. Keith Wheeler, Atascocita, WR23. Erick Conley, Alief Taylor, DT24. Taureen Crawford, Elkins, DT25. Jaiden Scott, Shadow Creek, DB26. Dorian Friend, Spring, DB27. DeMone Green, Heights, DE28. Jaiden Robertson, Dekaney, DB29. Daniel Goolsby,Friendswood, OL30. Cadyn Bradley, Spring, ATHQuick Notes- Harold Perkins at 12 no way. He is at minimum top 10 but should be top 5.- Malick Sylla at the top spot is not much of surprise, he is going to have a ridiculous season. He is top five for me.- Trent McGaughey is going to rise up rankings boards. Currently he is WAY behind Donovan Green in every ranking but I think he will close the gap some. I like Green as a prospect more but think McGaughey gets overlooked. He should have a huge year with his QB and Baylor commit Kyron Drones throwing him the ball.- Five linebackers inside the top 20, love to see it. Baylor should get significant contributors at the LB position this year.- Love Justin Medlock inside the top 10, I think he is overlooked a little but should not be. I would take him over any LB in the entire state not named Harold Perkins. Top ILB for me with Harold being the top OLB for now.- Kameron Dewberry, Kelvin Banks, PJ Williams if Baylor could just land one of those guys it would be massive. Banks seems like the best chance at the moment.- I really like Dorian Friend. Brian and I saw him at the 2022 camp a couple months ago and were impressed. His size is not ideal but he has such smooth speed a quickness. I think he could be a steal for whatever program he goes to.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
