Official Visitor and Transfer Portal Note
- Baylor hosted Miami (FL) Central High School 2022 safety Alfonzo Allen was on an official visit over the weekend and earned a Baylor offer over the weekend. The three-star prospect sat with Dave Aranda at the basketball game on Saturday. He held offers from Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Miami, Oklahoma, USC, and others. He has attended three different schools the last three years and many of the top schools on his offer list. have backed off due to concerns over grades. The staff would not have offered if they didn't feel confident that he could make it.- Tulsa transfer defensive lineman Jaxon Player visited Baylor this past week then went up to Arkansas for his final official visit. This past week he told me he would be deciding today so that is very much in play but it could end up being a couple days before his announcement is public. I continue to believe that Baylor is in a good spot here even after the weekend.- Oklahoma transfer cornerback Latrell McCutchin is coming off of his USC visit and I think his decision will be between the Trojans and Bears. I am 50/50 on him right now as I have heard positive and negatives on the situation.

Thursday afternoon transfer updates
- As Colt and I have been reporting, the Baylor official visit for Tulsa transfer defensive tackle Jaxon Player has been going really well. Everything I have heard up to this point. has been positive so the momentum seems to been in Baylor's favor at the moment. TCU and Arkansas appear to be the main competition right now. He has already visited TCU but he still has an official visit scheduled this weekend to go to Arkansas. That has been on the schedule for a while so now it is just a matter of if he will cancel the visit or not following this Baylor visit. Player is set to decide on Sunday and enroll on Tuesday at the school he chooses. I think Baylor has an edge right now going into his decision weekend.- The second transfer prospect who has gained a lot of momentum is Oklahoma transfer cornerback Latrell McCutchin. The former Austin LBJ four-star cornerback posted a tweet that appeared to be a top three of USC, Baylor, and LSU. - He will be taking a trip to Baylor in the next couple days for a short official visit so I expect it to just be a day trip. I have also confirmed that he will be taking a trip to Southern California for an official visit this weekend. With these visits happening so close to enrollment for spring semester, my belief is he will be deciding this weekend then enrolling next week. Look for things to happen rather quickly but I still feel like Baylor sits in a good spot to land the talented cornerback.

New transfer portal offer
Baylor has offered Oklahoma transfer cornerback Latrell McCutchin as he announced he entered the portal yesterday. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect finished his true freshman season with nine tackles and two forced fumbles in nine appearances. The former four-star prospect out of Austin (TX) LBJ High School had over 30 offers during his high school recruitment. He also has a close relationship with Baylor safety Devin Lemear. Keep an eye on him as Baylor has some early momentum just one week before classes begin.....https://www.hudl.com/video/3/5298571/5fd717cef31d251014fc9989

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
