Insider Notes: Baylor opening the Florida pipeline back up?
Over a dozen Baylor prospects and commits were in Waco the first weekend of December for official visits. Following the conclusion, SicEm365’s Grayson Grundhoefer and Colt Barber caught up with several of those in attendance as well as sources who provided insight to the big visit weekend
The Almost Commits
Hearing Baylor has shifted their focus, like Colt and Grayson are reporting. One player recently tried to commit to the staff on an older offer and didn't get his opportunity as the offer was no longer valid. Now, I'm hearing it has happened to a second former offer. The staff is narrowing down to finding more speed on the edge, interior size, big corners that can run, and OL.The first that tried to commit was Shae Suiaunoa as an athlete, but the staff had moved on.Calvin Wiggins was the other, but his offer was a backup to a couple of WRs when given. Suiaunoa was committable when offered, but the Clear Lake Falcon appears to have waited too long. If the staff needs a big athlete, he could see a renewed interest, but for the moment it appears he's moving on.Don't be surprised to see a couple more leave the program after the season as well to make more room for 2019.
New 2019 WR/ATH Offer
