Recruiting Notes: Baylor extends an offer to four-star 2023 quarterback

Baylor extended its second offer to a quarterback in the 2023 class as Nashville (TN) Montgomery Bell Academy signal caller Marcel Reed‍ earned his 15th offer. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound prospect finished his sophomore season with 1,565 yards and 15 touchdown passes with a 54% completion percentage. He also added 366 yards rushing and seven more touchdowns in just seven games played. His team finished with a 6-3 record and made it to the Tennessee Division II-AAA state semifinals.
