Three Things: Penalties, Gerry Bohanon and Isaiah Hankins

With a season-opening win in the rearview and a home opener on the horizon — on the 20th anniversary of 9/1,1 no less — there were a lot of subjects covered during Dave Aranda's Monday press conference. These were three of my biggest takeaways. 

Penalties

These were the first thing Aranda discussed when asked about improvements needed following Saturday's win in San Marcos, which was good to hear. 

"We have to improve with our penalties. We had 11 penalties.
