WACO—Well … now we know.

Or rather, now we know more.

Impressive as defending national champion Baylor was in its first three wins against hapless opponents, the white-elephant question hovered both inside and outside the locker room: How would the Bears look against a good team? A Power Five team?

“We needed a test,” guard James Akinjo said, and Baylor figured it had one coming at noon Saturday when tradition-rich Stanford sashayed into the Ferrell Center.

Great write up, as usual, Jason! Agree on Brown and Sochan being ahead of schedule. Freshmen are so interesting in that way - they can be a totally different player by the time the tourney rolls around.

What grade do you give the NCAA Finals last year? B+ ?

Reminds me of Freshman English Comp. If there was an A essay somewhere in the universe, it has yet to be handed in.
