Baylor (10-2) and Oklahoma State (11-1) meet for a rematch of a regular season contest for the Big 12 Championship game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Saturday at 11 a.m. CT. The game will be aired live on ABC.

Oklahoma State — Quarterback Spencer Sanders

I almost went with return man Brennan Presley and special teams here as I think that’s an area that could shift the outcome. But I can’t exclude Sanders after his three-interception performance against the Bears back in early October. Fortunately for the Denton Ryan alum, his defense allowed a total of zero points off those turnovers in a 4-point win. In addition, Sanders’ running ability helped make up for his passing woes, as he totaled 76 yards on 12 carries, and helped illuminate the Bears’ woes in defending quarterbacks on the run. 

Baylor — Linebacker Terrel Bernard

One significant difference from the last meeting is Bernard’s availability for the Bears. His presence alone frees up others. Matt Jones filled in for an injured Bernard admirably in Stillwater as he and Dillon Doyle combined for 31 tackles and three tackles for loss. But, nothing compares to having a well-versed and multi-skilled star-like Bernard in action. I expect him to make life challenging for Spencer Sanders.

He was throwing off his heels but a little better throw and we get at least 3 there

Those usually come into play in the 2nd half. I hope not this time for once.

ND without a conference championship and lost their head coach over Baylor with an extra game, and 3 top 10 wins.

Committee said in 2014 conference championships matter. Especially with how well Baylor is playing right now…what the heck else does Baylor have to do.

We've cost ourselves at least 6 points so far. The Ebner fumble inside their 30 and that blocked kick. Glad to have the 15 point lead but we have to capitalize anytime we're inside their 30. Anyways good first half! Keep it up

OSU's running game essentially non-existent.

21 rushing yards and Jaelyn Warren is out.

I'd expect A LOT of jump balls from Sanders in the 2nd half.

Akron just hired the Oregon OC.

I worry about one of these smaller programs that has an opening taking a shot at Grimes.

All in all, great first half. The first possession by OSU in the second half is huge. If they get 7 on it it, the game will be a dogfight the rest of the way.

Blake Shapen and the Baylor defense were the big takeaways of the 1st Half. The passing game was so efficient, and those 2 interceptions were due in part to QB pressure. The first 30 minutes were impressive. The next 30 could put Baylor in position for a 3rd Big XII football title.

Hate to say it, Bohannen may have a problem winning back the job. If Shapen keeps it up, gonna be tough to put on bench he gives another dynamic with passing.

I just say if we wing the time of possession by 7 minutes again in the 2nd half we are going to win. Defense is talented as heck but man when they are rested they really bring it.

Oklahoma State obviously recently came from behind to win a game, we just can't play to not lose so to speak or we'll be to tight and it will compound.

If we play loose and continue to play our game we should hold on and/or potentially expand the game.

I guess that depends if Shapen can finish this game off. So far so good. Also since I love soccer, it is so great to see Noah kick the kickoffs out of the endzone because of their return guy who they say is dynamic,

Really? Thought it was perfect. Got close enough to take shots in the end zone, ended with a chip shot fg, and OSU no shot for getting ball back.

Of course the blocked fg sucked


Got the ball at 3:30… blew two minutes and was under a minute left while still in our own side of the field. Figured a 2 minute drill was actually kicked in at 2 min. Then we got hurried at the line with the td pass attempt.
