Baylor lands 2022 Miami Central safety Alfonzo Allen

In a bit of a surpise commitment, Dave Aranda’s staff landed a commitment from 2022 Miami (FL) Central High School safety Alfonzo Allen‍ (5-11, 185) on Thursday evening. The three-star prospect announced on Twitter. 

Allen held offers early in his recruitment from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma and others. 

Allen took an official visit to Baylor last weekend which ultimately led to Allen’s decision to commit to play at the Big 12 program.
