Walk Off Weekly: Baylor wins 3 of 4 heading into Shriners Classic

Esteban Oquendo-Cardoza takes home the slugger of the week award. Jared McKenzie looks to get things turned around heading into the weekend. Tyler Thomas, Jake Jackson, and Will Rigney all had fantastic weeks.

It was a great week for the Baylor baseball team. The Bears got their first series win of the season against #23 Duke and picked up a mid-week win over Rice. 

On Friday night, Tyler Thomas was excellent, giving up no runs in six innings pitched. Harrison Caley elevated the Bears to a 4-2 win with a huge 2RBI single in the sixth.

Baylor clobbered Duke in game one of the Sunday doubleheader. Winning 12-3 and tallying nine hits and eleven walks/HBP.
