I thought Shapen looked really good, and Gerry looked OK. But this type of format isn't going to really showcase Gerry's biggest strengths the same way it would Shapen's.

I still think we should find a way to use both guys. Both have such different skill sets and open up different parts of the offense. I think there's got to be a way to tap into and maximize what each player brings to the table.

On a separate note, I thought CJ Rogers was really impressive today. That kid looks like he's got something. Playing against our No. 1 defense, he made some great throws and did some really nice things while facing some pretty intense pressure.

It's exciting to see Shapen develop and grow into a future QB for Baylor. The Green and Gold game showcases Shapen's strengths more than GB as others have said. What stood out to me for GB (we all know this) was the plays that broke down and his ability to scramble and run. 100% every Baylor fan should keep in mind is in the red zone GB is still the best QB. I am faith in this coaching staff to make the best decision. It was a very exciting spring game.

Agee with many others, game time, Shapen looked very comfortable in the pocket, was decisive and threw really nice passes.
Keep in mind fans, this was with 20 mph winds and higher gusts.
GB just looked like he had happy feet and was ready to take off too quickly. Now don't get me wrong, he is pretty quick for some one his size, just wish he had more patience in the pocket.
I would say if Bohanon and Shapen were tied at 99 points for the starting spot, Shapen got to 100 with today's showing.

Another thing I noticed, is this team has some speed, wow.

September can't get here fast enough.
