In 2021, Baylor’s offense primarily played out of 11 personnel (1 RB, 1 TE, and 3 WR), but towards the end of the year, they shifted towards playing much more 12 personnel (1 RB, 2 TE, 2 WR). Why? Because Ben Sims and Drake Dabney became very good players with all-around games, and thus their multi-faceted abilities allowed Baylor’s offense to remain versatile even in these bigger sets.
