Ja'Mee Asberry discusses her transfer to Baylor from Oklahoma State; why she likes to cook; her desire to become an FBI agent and her thoughts on the upcoming Baylor basketball team

• Trinity Oliver was her best friend from AAU and gave Ja’Mee a great preview of what Baylor was like before transferring to Washington
• She feels that it was an advantage to transfer in conference to know the scouting and arenas of other teams
• She talks about her desire to do something as an FBI investigative agent after her playing days are over, following in the footsteps of her dad who is in law enforcement
• She discusses the challenge of playing in a new system at Baylor after leading the Big12 in 3 point shooting at Oklahoma State.  She says she was scouted differently at Baylor (less open looks).  She had played PG at OSU and was playing on the wing more at Baylor.  
• Ja’Mee thinks we will be a much better rebounding team and the depth will make a big difference.  Last year playing with 3 guards under 5-7 hurt rebounding.  
• She rates her Baylor experience a 10 out of 10.  At OSU, she was ready to get done with school.  At Baylor, she feels that she will miss college.  
• She is passionate about cooking.  She likes to cook for the whole team before school starts.  
• Ja’Mee says she is the funniest on the team.  If she’s in trouble at 2am, Kendra is her first call.  Most studious?  Jaden or Caitlin.  Most outgoing?  Caitlin.  
• I asked her funny stories about Nicki, she said Nicki trips a lot and is naturally clumsy.  
• Getting Covid was a great bonding experience, she recalls how important getting that win at Kansas was.  
• Crime thrillers is her favorite genre of show to watch.
