The Baylor baseball team will stay in Texas as the No. 2 seed in the Houston Regional to begin the 2017 NCAA Tournament. Baylor will play the first game of the tournament against No. 3 seed Texas A&M on Friday at 2 p.m. CT.
The winner of the grouping in Houston will move on to face the winner of the Chapel Hill Regional out of North Carolina.

Baylor defeated Texas A&M 6-3 with a walk-off grand slam earlier in season in Houston to claim the only victory over the Aggies since the program left for the SEC. Baylor also won a home series over host Houston where the Bears only allowed three runs in the three-game series.
