Defending Oklahoma State — Key Players and Matchups

After a mediocre 2021 season offensively, Mike Gundy and Oklahoma State have returned to their roots and become a true hurry-up offense. As Aranda said in his press conference, this OSU team is arguably faster (tempo-wise) than Ole Miss was.

Against Arizona State, OSU ran 84 plays and had 14 drives. Against Central Michigan, they had 16 drives. In contrast, since Jeff Grimes arrived, Baylor has usually been in that 9-11 range.
