Baylor Women's Basketball Releases Big 12 Schedule

WACO, Texas – The Big 12 Conference released the regular season league schedule on Monday morning, completing Baylor’s 30-game slate for the 2022-23 season.

The Bears open conference play on New Year’s Eve against TCU before heading on a two-game road trip to Oklahoma on Jan. 3 and Kansas Jan. 7.

The OSU Cowgirls come to the Ferrell Center for a mid-week bout on Jan. 11. After a road trip to West Virginia for a Sunday contest on Jan. 15, the squad returns for back-to-back games in front of the hometown crowd against Kansas State on Jan. 18 and the Texas Longhorns on Sunday, Jan. 22. The month of January closes for the Bears as they take on Texas Tech in Lubbock on Jan. 28th.

February begins with a Wednesday matchup against the Jayhawks on the first of the month, followed by a trip to Iowa State on Feb. 4th. The back-half of the schedule begins back at home against the Sooners in Waco on Feb. 7, followed by another two-game road trip against Oklahoma State on the 11th and Kansas State on the 15th.

Baylor hosts Iowa State at the Ferrell Center on the 18th and then heads up I-35 to Schollmaier Arena to face the Horned Frogs on Feb. 22. The Bears then come right back home on the 25th to face Texas Tech. The last pair of regular season games sees the Longhorns in Austin on the 27th and the Mountaineers in Waco on March 4th.

The non-conference schedule was released Aug. 19 and features home games against Southwest Baptist (exhibition), Lamar, Incarnate Word, SMU, Maryland, HCU, UT Arlington, Tennessee State and Long Beach State.

The Bears will make a pair of non-conference road trips to Estero, Fla., for the Gulf Coast Showcase in November and the Pac-12 Coast-to-Coast Challenge at the American Airlines Center in Dallas in December.

The remainder of the tip times and TV networks will be announced as determined.
