Attacking Texas Tech — Key Players and Matchups

Texas Tech is better defensively than you might expect. In fact, in a lot of meaningful defensive statistics, Tech is very, very similar to Baylor this year.

Now, that’s in large part due to Baylor’s defense disappointing for a big portion of this year. But Tech’s defense has also been much better than in any recent year. In my consistent theme of “good coaches produce results,” Tim DeRuyter is a good coach.
