JJ Joe: Defense Gets Back on Track vs Kansas
October 25, 2022
1,605
Defensively, the Bears shut down KU’s running game (56 yards on 20 carries). A large part of that was getting up 28-3 and forcing KU to play catch-up. The defense played lights out in the first half but was not as sharp in the second half allowing Kansas to convert quite a few 3rd and long situations to get back in the game. Holding a good KU offense to only 23 points is impressive but we still have issues getting to the quarterback.
