• Dealing with health related issues after discovering a mold problem in the apartment complex they (Averi Carlson and her) were living in.  They relocated and the health issues cleared up.  
• Started playing volleyball at age 7.  She wanted to go to Baylor at an early age- drawn to the reputation of the school in the medical field.  
• Has had to deal with a lot of shoulder injuries throughout her career.
• Loves to travel, talked about some of the places she has been and wants to visit.  
• Great conversationalist, threw some of the questions back at me.
