That was ugly. It’s not my job to sugarcoat things or make the team feel better. I have to tell it like it is. In that moment (Big 12 title appearance on the line), in that environment (first big home night game in three years), in front of that crowd (who was ready to explode if given the slightest spark), that was embarrassing. On a cold night, Baylor’s fanbase was ready to explode. The team acted as a wet blanket.
