Baylor Soccer Forward Mackenzie Anthony Transferring Out

WACO, Texas — Baylor Soccer junior center forward Mackenzie Anthony is transferring out of the program and announced her commitment to Michigan State Sunday.

The Wheaton, Illinois native was the leading scorer for the Bears two seasons ago in 2021. After a coaching change and a serious knee injury last Spring that kept her sidelined for all of 2022, this is not the most shocking news. 

This is a tough loss for Michelle Lenard’s squad as Anthony was a proven goal scorer and highly touted recruit out of the US Soccer Development Academy. However, there is no lack of competition left on the roster in Waco.
