Arkansas transfer wide receiver Ketron Jackson commits to Baylor
Baylor has landed a massive commitment out of the trasnfer portal as Arkansas wide receiver Ketron Jackson gave his pledge to the Bears following his official visit this weekend.
This past season Jackson finished with 277 yards and three touchdowns on 16 receptions. As a freshman he finished with 97 yards and a touchdown.
Out of Royse City (TX) High School, Jackson was a four-star prospect in the 2021 class and was rated as a top 200 prospect in the nation accoriding to 247 Composite.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound prospect totaled 103 receptions for 1,730 yards and 17 touchdowns during his junior and senior seasons. Baylor recruited him heavily out of high school but he ended up in Fayetteville.
Jackson was set to be the Razorbacks top receiver going into next season and were caught off guard by his decision to enter the transfer portal especially after Arkansas Head Coach Sam Pittman said that Jackson would get the starting slot role in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl which was occupied by Jadon Haselwood this season.
Baylor needs to address the wide receiver position in the portal and now have done so. Jackson gives this roster a unique playmaker downfield along with a prospect who can create yards after catch. Jackson is an ideal fit for Jeff Grimes’ offense and will likely start on the outside next season.
