Noah Rauschenberg Enters the Transfer Portal
Baylor kicker Noah Rauschenberg has entered the transfer portal. The Oklahoma native announced his decision on Monday via social media.
A 2-star signee in the 2019 recruiting class out of Tulsa Union, Rauschenberg served as the Bears’ primary kickoff specialist for the majority of his time in Waco and saw action in over 40 contests over four seasons. Rarely but briefly used in other areas, he also made 4-4 extra point attempts, punted once, and went 0-2 on a pair of 50+ yard field goal attempts during his career. But kickoffs were his bread and butter, and touchbacks became a regular weapon and part of his repertoire the past two seasons.
Rauschenberg is the ninth member of the 2022 roster to enter the transfer portal. Special teams, in particular, are set to undergo a complete overhaul following the departure of Rauschenberg along with assistant coach Ronnie Wheat, kicker John Mayers and punter Issac Power.
