ATLANTA – Baylor women’s basketball junior guard Sarah Andrews has been tabbed the Jersey Mike’s Naismith Women’s College Player of the Week, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced on Tuesday.

The honor marks Andrews’ third player of the week accolade this week, being named ESPN’s National Player of the Week and the Big 12 Player of the Week on Monday.

The Irving, Texas, native finished last week averaging 28.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, while shooting 50.0% (18-for-36) from the floor, 47.1% (8-for-17) from 3-point range and 86.7% (13-for-15) from the charity stripe in a pair of top-25 wins against Oklahoma and Kansas.

Andrews opened the week with a career-high 30 points against the Sooners, becoming the fifth player in the Big 12, and first in conference play, to turn in a 30-point performance this season. She went a career-best 9-for-11 from the free-throw line and a team-high 5-for-12 from behind the arc, while going without a turnover in 36 minutes of action.

In Saturday's win at Kansas, Andrews notched her second-highest scoring output of the year, finishing with a game-high 27 points. The guard logged a full 40 minutes, going a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line, a game-best 3-for-5 from 3-point range and a career-best 10-for-16 (62.5%) from the floor.

Baylor returns to action on Wednesday when it hosts Oklahoma State inside the Ferrell Center at 7 p.m.
