Faith in Porter propelling his confidence, future as NFL prospect

It's no secret that offensive tackle Maurice "Mo" Porter has patiently waited his turn to become a starter for the Bears. After spending two seasons at the junior college level, Porter signed with the Bears as part of the 2015 class after failing to qualify academically out of high school.

Following a redshirt season in 2015, Porter saw playing time as a junior in a reserve roll but did not secure start in 13 games. Now a senior, Porter is penciled in as the starter for the Bears at left tackle as fall camp begins.

But that's not the only thing Porter has going for him.

Expecting a great season from Mo! Shows what the right coaching approach can do for a player.

Rooting for Mo. Any player that sticks with you through JUCO and a coaching change wants to be a Bear. Glad he's on our side.
