BREAKING: Baylor lands 2018 OL Connor Galvin

Baylor has landed the 17th member of their 2018 recruiting class in the form of Katy (TX) High School offensive lineman Connor Galvin. Galvin is Baylor's fourth offensive lineman in the class.

Galvin (6-6, 280) took an unofficial visit to Baylor on Monday along with his mother, uncle and brother. The trip to Waco was the final visit for Galvin prior to the dead period which begins on Tuesday and prior to the start of his senior season.

2018 BAYLOR FOOTBALL COMMITMENT LIST

Galvin committed to the Bears over offers from Colorado, Duke, Florida, TCU, Texas Tech and UCLA.

Yes, you're correct. I'd be very surprised if Baylor signs anyone under 6-4 unless they are an elite talent. In fact, George DeLeone's search list was made up of only prospects at least 6-4.

Just take some weight off.

Someone on campus asked me who the tight end taking a visit was yesterday. I said, that's an OT. He said he was a great looking kid, but now that Connor Galvin weighs 280 and looks like a TE you know he'll be 310-315 with ease and has great feet.

High upside on all four committed.

I could see 1 more and a JC is a possibility, but if they can find a HS they like they will take him.
