Baylor Women’s Basketball Forward Erika Porter Enters Transfer Portal
WACO, Texas — Baylor Women’s Basketball lost another player to the transfer portal with junior forward Erika Porter joining Jaden Owens on Wednesday. Porter spent this past season with the Bears after transferring from Illinois, where she appeared in 15 games as a role player in 2022-23.
The West Windsor, New Jersey native accounted for 1.5 PPG and 1.6 rebounds per game last season. Baylor bulked up their roster with the addition of Belmont transfer Madison Bartley and will also add 6-foot-7 freshman Letycia Vasconcelos from Montverde Academy in Florida.
Despite the loss of Caitlin Bickle, having Aijah Blackwell back this upcoming season — along with Dre Edwards — the Bears will still have plenty of firepower to work with inside. As always, get the latest on Baylor Women’s Basketball from SicEm365.com.
