Baylor Women's Basketball Reunites with Brittney Griner

Wednesday night provided an opportunity to mend any misunderstandings between Baylor and Brittney Griner, as head coach Nicki Collen and the Women’s team met with the former Baylor star in the Metroplex. Griner and the Phoenix Mercury were back in Texas to face the Dallas Wings at College Park Center in Arlington, and the Bears were able to meet with her prior to the game.

I am so happy that Nicki is doing this ! Brittney Griner is the best player to ever wear a Baylor Wbb uniform. Retiring her jersey is LONG overdue.

I am so incredibly glad we have Nicki Collen as our coach. In addition to being a very good coach, she is a class act and great representative for Baylor!
