Cibolo Steele 2025 Four-Star WR Royal Capell Enjoys Summer Visit to Waco
Cibolo (TX) Steele High School 2025 athlete/wide receiver Royal Capell took a visit to Baylor at the end of June after earning his offer from the staff back in January.
“Man it was amazing!” He said. “I love how Coach Dallas Baker is big on the little things, he’s a very fundamental coach and knows the game and has also played the game.”
The 5-foot-11, 180-pound prospect posted 767 yards and six touchdowns on 62 receptions to go along with 178 yards and a touchdown on the ground as a sophomore.
“We got to visit the school, see them practicing, talk to the whole coaching staff, also get a photo shoot, and sit in the film room.” He said.
The relationship with the staff has grown a lot over the past seven months and this trip really solidified his interest in the program at this stage in his recruitment.
“Yes they definitely gave a good family vibe,” he said. “My mom loved the atmosphere and the school is huge. I’m coming back during the season for sure.”
Capell took visits to Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, and Ohio State this summer so he was able to see quite a few different schools but he has been very impressed with Baylor so far.
“Baylor is definitely a top school that’s why I was so ready to get on a visit.” He said.
He holds ten total offers from schools like Oregon, Missouri, UTSA, Houston, Duke, and Oklahoma among others.
Currently Capell is a low four-star prospect according to On3 and SicEm36, a high three-star on Rivals, and unranked on 247 and ESPN.
