Nice to see that special teams has become more of a priority. I would think that such quality talent, extended over the whole season, could be a difference maker in W-L column.

Liberty Hill 2024 Kicker Connor Hawkins Commits to Baylor
Liberty Hill (TX) Kicker Connor Hawkins has committed to Baylor after receiving his offer back in June. He becomes commit No. 13 in the 2024 class.

The No. 13 ranked kicker in the nation according to Chris Sailer Kicking has been in contact with both Tyler Hancock and Ryan Pollard. Hancock was the one who called to extend the offer.
Hawkins attended a camp in Waco on June 18th where he hit 4-of-4 kicks in live field goal practice to go along with a 5-for-7 outing on field goal charting with a long of 55 yards. His kickoffs ranged from 67-76 yards with around a 4.0 second hang time.
The staff prioritized the kicker position this class after landing Palmer Williams, the top punter in the nation, for the 2023 class.
