I miss the days when "starting fast" meant we scored in less than a couple of minutes on our first drive. I'm not sure I understand how it's currently defined by this staff.
We just got punk'd in the second half. Utah made half time adjustments on defense to load up and stop the run. I guess by halftime, they saw enough of SR to know he was not accurate - so force him to beat us - worked out for them - and they wore down the Baylor defense with all the short possessions- this Baylor offense is just not very good. The defense, however, did look better - quite a few missed tackles after they got tired - played some new guys that were better or at least gave more effort.
I'm about to watch this and have prepared myself emotionally for a lot of "thanks for that question"s

I will say that was a little bit different tone from Dave. It was better given the catastrophe and the death spiral the program is in now
It's just not his personality and maybe over time it can work. Doesn't inspire me in the least but he's not trying to inspire us so hopefully he inspires the team we're willing to spend some of our time investing in

Dave mentioned something to the effect of "doing these things brings the hate" so I wonder how that will translate into the prep etc and if the team lets their will be broken or becomes stronger from the failures
