Defensive Tackle, Tyrone Hunt (6-4, 285) | Arp (TX) High School

— Forgive me for posting the condensed version of Baylor's 2016 bowl game versus Boise State, it was the best way to give you an idea on what exactly Tyrone Hunt was all about in the best game of his career until this point.

— Hunt marks one of the several defensive players on this list who were taken late in the recruiting process who will play a significant role on the team in 2017, but he might be the most intriguing case considering his ceiling out of high school might not have looked the same as others. He also didn't have the numbers to make him stand out at a small school like Arp.

— The best way to describe Hunt is a "country boy". Arp is a town is 20 minutes from where I grew up and he was a celebrity at the local feed store when he would make the trip to the same place my dad would. Not only a celebrity but a great young man as well.

— If his bowl game against BSU was the game in which he really did begin to blossom, there are big things in store for the East Texas prospect. With his size and strength, Hunt is the perfect fit for Elijah Robinson's defensive interior and his worth ethic will carry him long ways. Hunt possesses long arms to keep linemen off of his body during run plays and athletic enough rush the passer from the inside as well.

— He is currently listed as a back up to Micheal Johnson at defensive tackle.
