extremely interesting. Sounds like we may be most fortunate with excellent walk-ons than any other time in our program's history. I certainly hope so. i am concerned about so many injuries.

Rhule mentioned it being hard to have a verbal offensive leader now with no huddle.. was that indicative of our offense still running no huddle?

So that's what smoak looks like! Been listening to his podcast for years but never seen him.

Everytime rhule speaks you can tell he just has so much going through his head he knows they have a lot to cover. But he handles himself so well really impressed with this coach preseason. Wish this team all the best

in still worried about the OL. As a former Baylor coach stated "if a school is going to start a true freshman, they probabaly aren't a very good team"

I think times have changed a little bit. All 4 playoff teams had a freshman starter. I think these kids are just bigger and stronger and more prepared from high school than say 10 years ago.

Man this guy is a such a good communicator. Loved listening to CAB but there was this nagging feeling the he was about to sell you a used car. CMR comes across as more straightforward.

I guarantee you those Southlake Dragon freshmen will be ready to play for Baylor.

Up until 1972, colleges had freshman teams. Frosh werent allowed to play on the varsity squads. The next season Archie Griffin started a four year reign of terror at Ohio State. the next year Tony Dorsett took off at Pitt.

The decision was largely financial. It costs a ton of money to field one football team and everything that goes with it. All the non-Ohio State/UT/Mich States were swimming in the red.

Gonna be a fun year. As a group, our expectations are not as high as two years ago. On the season prediction thread from BFans, it was a pretty easy 8-4 record with several hundred voting.

As for me personally, as long as UT and TCU are part of that 8, I'll consider this year a win.
