2025 Shortstop TJ Woodson Commits to Mitch Thompson and Baylor Baseball

Hanover (VA) High School shortstop TJ Woodson (2025) has committed to Mitch Thompson and the Baylor baseball program.

Woodson is a “game-changer” prospect that has heralded comparisons to MLB All-Star shortstop Trea Turner. Baylor won this recruiting battle over North Carolina State.

Woodson becomes the fifth commit in the 2025 class, while BU’s 2024 class includes 12 players and is highlighted by RHP Brayden Bergman.

TJ is also the brother of the current Baylor head tennis coach, Michael Woodson.
