Commit Highlights: Offense Steals The Show This Week

SicEm365's Grayson Grundhoefer details the play of Baylor's commits during the 2023 season.

Oaks Christian (CA) QB Nate Bennett‍ beat Westlake 41-14. He finished 11-of-17 for 163 yards with three touchdowns and one interception.

Tidehaven RB Joseph Dodds‍ beat Brazos 34-0. He totaled 24 carries for 138 yards and two touchdowns to go along with two receptions for 23 yards and a touchdown.

Lorena WR Jadon Porter‍ beat Rockdale 27-17. Porter posted four catches for 75 yards and a touchdown plus four tackles on defense. This was his first game back from the quad injury he suffered at the beginning of the year.

The Woodlands OL Koltin Sieracki‍ beat College Park 49-0. The offense totaled 498 yards and six touchdowns.

Evangel Christian (LA) OL Tristan Santoro‍ lost to North DeSoto 28-38. 

St. Joseph (MS) DE Alex Foster‍ lost to Adams County Christian 6-28. He finished with seven tackles, two for loss, and a forced fumble. He also had a 19 yard reception on offense.

Lumberton OLB Brock Jackson‍ beat Vidor 54-28. He posted six tackles, four for loss, and a sack.

Corner Canyon (UT) LB Bo Tate‍ beat Herriman 45-24. He is done for the season with a torn ACL. 

Mansfield Summit LB Kyland Reed‍ beat Corsicana 55-14. He finished with four tackles, one for loss. 

Comanche CB Kyler Beaty‍ lost to Jacksboro 22-30, 

Ridge Point S Mason Dossett‍ beat FB Clements 63-0. He had one catch for 11 yards.

Arlington Bowie S Kris Wokomah‍ was on bye this week.

China Spring ATH Greydon Grimes‍ beat La Vega 52-49. He had two tackles with one for loss.

Liberty Hill K Connor Hawkins‍ beat Lockhart 56-41. He finished with nine kickoffs for 535 yards while averaging 59.4 yards per kick. He was 8-for-8 on extra points and 0-for-1 on field goals.

Columbus 2025 QB Adam Schobel‍ beat Hitchcock 52-24. He finished 16-of-26 for 147 yards and two passing touchdowns along with another touchdown on the ground.

Duncanville 2025 OL Desean Bryant‍ beat Mansfield 51-0. The offenses totaled 521 yards and seven touchdowns.

In light of our current season it will be interesting to see if we hold this class or have it raided. If other Big 12 schools come after some of these players

Most of the conference have their classes pretty much filled out at this point. I'd be surprised to see the whole class raided because quite frankly I'm not sure how many of these guys would be takes for other Big 12 schools this late in the game. Unless you're talking some of them flipping to UH, which is in a world of hurt themselves.
