While West Virginia’s resurgence this Fall has largely been on the back of their top-25 offense, they’ve seen some solid improvement on defense as well. The unit was horrendous last year; roughly as bad as Baylor’s defense is this year, but they’ve made a solid step up and now are simply bad (62nd this year) instead of atrocious (101st last year).

This….. I'm not sure I've seen a softer D1 team than this squad. They're a carbon copy of their HC Dirty Dave
