Bears Gallop Past Ponies 85-61 in First Road Test of the Season

Littlepage-Buggs led the Bears in scoring with 24 points on the night and put up 11 rebounds for her first double-double of the season, the 15th in her career. Also with 11 rebounds, Edwards put up 10 points for a double-double of her own. 

Baylor out-rebounded SMU 51-28 with Littlpage-Buggs and Aijha Blackwell putting up six and five offensive rebounds, respectively. 

The Baylor bench contributed 31 points led by Bella Fontleroy’s 17. This continues the hot streak for the bench and is yet another testament to the depth of this team. 

Next up, the Bears return home to host Oregon on Sunday in the Ferrell Center at 1:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast on FS1.
