Well we're at the bottom and not likely to go further down. So any change right now looks like a good plan.

But CDA isn't a long term solution. He just isn't a good headcoach, and won't ever be be imo. Maybe the new OC is the future headcoach.

I'm hoping Spavital is not part of some succession plan. I'm happy to have him as OC....but his resume doesn't justify P5 HC at this time.

I'm a big JJ fan. He was our QB when I was at BU. But, he is kind of "on the payroll" so to speak.

That's definitely the case but I don't mind it

That's true, but that didn't stop them from hiring Aranda. Nothing would surprise me anymore with these people.

My favorite thing from JJ is when he yelled "touchdown!" on the radio call of the 2011 OU game on the iconic RG3 to Terrance Williams throw before it even happened.

I don't remember who our player was, but we had a guy running around the end to tackle Bell on that play. I have no idea if he'd have succeeded, but I've always wondered.

Regardless, I'll take the false start. That ending was incredible.

We will be hearing Robertson is better than Shapen who was better than Bohannon. New Coaches are upgrades, even though we have a lame duck HC. Any player that leaves is not good, any player coming in is a coup.

Yet, we go from 12 wins to 6 to 3... We are at a point where beating Tarleton St will be a celebratory accomplishment. Think about that.

The effort that Baylor has made to sugarcoat their decision to retain Aranda has been impressive. I really do think Mack has a future in politics. Or maybe an HOA president or something to that effect

Not sure we could be in a better spot considering keeping Aranda. I was not necessarily in favor of keeping him, but could not imagine 12/13/23 much better considering we did.

No. WE have tried to coordinator to head coach ting several times now and it hasn't worked. Only candidates with HC experience from now on, even if it is not HC experience at the P5 level and only G5 level.

Speaking of Bell I had no idea he was playing in the NFL as TE still until I saw it a few weeks ago while watching a game..... and of course it was because they cut to a shot of Taylor hanging out with some of the wives and they said Blake Bell's wife.....
