Weston, I think I know the reason, but if you don't mind, please tell us why Kendall Briles' name should not be on the list. If it's because Baylor would have to endure criticism, I wonder if that's a good enough reason. Our critics would then be determining who we hire. Are there other reasons not to consider him?

There are several reasons why it's probably not a very good fit right now:

A) He probably needs some HC experience at a smaller school or several more years of OC experience

B) From what I've heard both sides would probably like to go in a different direction at seasons end.

C) As much as the Baylor faithful hate it, starting over with a clean slate is a factor going forward

D) I say all of this with a ton of respect for KB and everything I have heard is he wasn't implicated at all in the PH Report so I wouldn't doubt if he turned up as an OC at a decent program next year or even an HC at a smaller school.
