Southside (AL) 2025 OL Jamin Brown Commits to Baylor
Gadsden (AL) Southside High School 2025 offensive lineman Jamin Brown has committed to Baylor over Kentucky and Apalachian State. He becomes commit No. 5 in the 2025 class and the third offensive lineman joining Desean Bryant and Kash Courtney.
BAYLOR 2025 RECRUITING COMMITMENT LIST
The 6-foot-5, 303-pound prospect earned a Baylor offer on November 20th from Eric Mateos but has been building his relationships with the rest of the staff since he left for Arkansas this offseason.
“I’m super excited and blessed!” he said of earning the offer. “The opportunity to play for such a prestigious university is amazing.”
The ASWA Second-Team All-State performer helped guide Southside to an 8-3 record and to the AHSAA playoffs.
Brown becomes the first high school offensive line recruit to commit since Baylor hired Chris Kapilovic this offseason.
Baylor currently has the No. 18 ranked 2025 class in the nation according to 247 and On3.
