Key Concepts: Understanding the Counter Run Game

Welcome back to another installment in the off-season scheme series where I introduce some of the concepts that Baylor will be utilizing in 2024. A few weeks ago we broke down Inside Zone which likely will be the foundational play for Baylor in 2024; this week we’ll look at “Counter,” a very different run that Baylor may use just as much or even more than Inside Zone.
